Obituary of Anne Puetz

Anne C. Puetz (nee Scheri) Age 96. At rest Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Rosewood Care Center. Born in Standard, IL to the late Bartolomeo and Catherine (nee Vandelli) Scheri. A Joliet area resident for over 60 years. Received her teaching certificate at age 20 from LPO Junior College in 1933. Her first teaching position was at Brush College School in Henry, IL. Retired in 1979 from R.C. Hill Elementary School, Romeoville. Member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. God blessed us with a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who continues to be a role model for us all. Her interests included Bingo, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are one daughter, Donna (Frank) Nemanich of Plainfield; four grandchildren, Anne Nemanich of Joliet, Michael Nemanich of Plainfield, Karen Nemanich of Shorewood, and Leah Nemanich of Plainfield; great-grandson, Ryan Softcheck of Plainfield; one sister, Bruna Bernardi of Pasadena, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by her husband, Arthur (1990); her parents; and two sons, Wayne and William Puetz. Funeral Services for Anne C. Puetz will be Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
