Obituary of Michael Quatrano

Michael L. Quatrano Age 51. Passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at home with his family by his side, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was a warehouse attendant for Ford Motor Company in Melrose Park, retiring after 30 years of service. He was Union Steward for UAW Local #551. He was a beloved husband and dedicated father and Papa, and will always be remembered for his kind heart. He enjoyed working on cars, and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife, Sylvia (nee Buschenko) Quatrano of Channahon; two sons, Justin Quatrano and Anthony (Robin) Quatrano; two stepchildren, Eric Restoff and Tracy (Jason) Flyte; four grandchildren, Hailey, Dillan, Jocelyn and Jaden; three step-grandchildren, Mikayla, Cian and Julianna; his mother, Jean (nee Kerber) Schmidt; one brother, Dante Quatrano and one sister, Cindy Quatrano. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Schmidt. Funeral Services for Michael L. Quatrano will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services. Memorials in his name to the UIF/Brain Cancer Research at UIC Medical Center, Developmental Office, 1747 W.
