Obituary of Jo Querio

Jo Ann C. Querio (nee Steffes) Age 75, of Joliet, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born June 24, 1933 in Joliet to the late Elery and Jane (nee Moffett) Steffes. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Querio; a son, B.J.; and in-laws, Gento and Mary Querio. Survived by her children, Debbie (Greg) Vidmar and Jim (Kathy) Querio both of Channahon, Rick (Sue) Querio of Morris, John (Anne) Querio and Jacquie (Mike) Mackey both of Joliet. Jo Ann also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Chris and Jon Vidmar; Pat, Kara, Neal, and Ryann Querio; and Matt and T.J. Mackey; also survived by her in-laws, Anita (Bob) Nichols, Gerald and Mary Querio; and nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition, Jo Ann is survived by a group of loving and caring friends. Funeral Services for Jo Ann C. Querio will be Monday, November 10, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made as gifts in Jo Ann's memory to her family for distribution to local charities of their choosing.
