Obituary of John Rauworth

John A. Rauworth Age 57, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room from an apparent heart attack. John was a bass guitarist for many local bands, most recently Excalibur. He worked at Folger Adam Security for 32 years; and currently had worked for Midwest Detention in Minooka. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and encouraging their love of music. He was also active in Boy Scouts. Survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Terri L. (nee Obert) Rauworth of Joliet; daughter, Sharon (Jason) Genschoreck of Joliet; his mother, Ruby Morrison of Morris; two grandchildren, Victoria and Andrew; two sisters, Barbara (Robert) Guiterrez and Patricia (late Manuel) Vitte; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one son, John E. Rauworth (1988); and his father, John E. Rauworth (1971). Funeral Services for John A. Rauworth will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
