Obituary of William Reuter

William L. "Bill" Reuter "Smiley" Age 66. Suddenly, Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong Joliet area resident. A U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Retired from the Joliet Park District Airport as the airport manager after over 20 years of service. A lifetime member of the Moran A.C. Club. Bill was a warm hearted human being who's greatest love was talking with people and his appreciation of aircraft and aviation. Preceded by his parents, John and Catherine (nee Boucher) Reuter. Survived by his loving sister, Sally (Timothy) Neary of Morris; one niece, Kristen Neary of Crest Hill and one nephew, Timothy Neary II of Morris also survive. Funeral services for William L. Reuter will be Monday, July 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Fr. Richard Ross officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at: FRED C.
