Obituary of Robert Rocchi

Robert J. Rocchi Age 59, of Morris, IL., passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Hancock, MI. May 31, 1948 to the late Theodore and Irene (Lencioni) Rocchi. He received both his bachelors and masters degrees from Northern Michigan University. Bob enjoyed a long career teaching Industrial Arts for over 30 years at Joliet Central High School. An outdoor enthusiast, he especially liked motorcycle riding and rafting the Kankakee River. Survived by his wife Nancy (Hill) whom he married July 25, 1970 in Ishpeming, MI.; Loving father of Jessica (Shane) O'Connor of Madison, WI. and Amanda Rocchi of Morris. Proud and devoted grandfather of Liam O'Connor. Dear son-in-law of Benita and the late Arnold Hill of Minneapolis, MN. Fond brother-in-law of Tera (Lynn) Miner of Glendale, WI., Ronald (Janice) Hill of Miami, FL., Peggy (Scott) Bocklund of Minneapolis, MN. and David (Helen) Hill of Babson Park, FL. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and a fond uncle Angelo Lencioni. As it was Bob's wish, cremation rites have been accorded. All friends and relatives are invited to gather Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W.
