Obituary of George Beutel

George A. Beutel Age77. Went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 12, 2009 George was married to Eleanore (Eich) Beutel on October 22, 1955 at St. John Catholic Church, after returning from service in the U. S. Army stationed in Japan. He was born into a farming tradition and he truly loved his occupation. He also owned a grain trucking business his entire life. George was a 30 year member of the Minooka Grain Co. Board of Directors. Also served on Board of Directors for the Will County Farm Bureau and its Membership and Marketing Committees. He was an original organizer of the Will County Corn Growers Association, a volunteer for the Troy Fire Department, Honorary Life Member in the Knights of Columbus, and member of the Minooka Lions Club and Loyal Order of the Moose. He served many years as an usher for his church. All of his life, he was a loyal and avid Chicago Cubs fan. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eleanore, and four children, George M. (Nancy) Beutel, Daniel L. Beutel, Jean (Jeffery) Hutchison and John (Elizabeth) Beutel. He was proud of his grandchildren, George Patrick, Michael and Timothy Beutel, Jacob, Samuel and Julianne Hutchison, and Brian, Andrew and McKenzie Beutel. Also surviving are his sisters and brothers, Robert (Helen) Beutel, Charlene (William) Kobe, Janet Alsbury, James (Joann) Beutel, and Gordon (Nancy) Beutel. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, George C. and Clare Beutel; a sister in infancy, and John Alsbury, a brother-in-law. Funeral services for George A. Beutel will be Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka, for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Fr. Mark Fracarro, officiating. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka. Memorials to the St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, or for Masses in his name, would be appreciated.
