Obituary of Richard Sallo

Richard L. Sallo "Ollie" Age 86. Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at his late residence in Plainfield, IL. Born in Millersburg, OH to the late Ollie and Bernice Sallo. Survived by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Palmer) of Plainfield; loving father of Patricia (Donald) Grigas, and Lynn Sallo; grandfather of Kimberly (Paul) Lee and Brian Grigas; proud great-grandfather of Connor, Jack and Jenna. A U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He was a graduate of Millersburg High School, Class of 1941 and Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH where he earned his Bachelors degree in engineering. He retired from U.S. Steel after 34 years of service. He was an avid golfer. Cremation Rites have been accorded with private services and interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
