Obituary of Elaine Schmeisser

Elaine E. Schmeisser (nee Schulz) Age 64. At rest Friday, January 7, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, following a courageous battle with a six month illness. Born in Belvidere, IL to the late Carl and Ena (nee Marshall) Schulz, she was a lifelong Joliet resident. Employed by Meridian Medical (Joliet Medical Group) as a cardiac technician for the past 18 years. Member of Faith Lutheran Church, serving on the Worship Council and choir. Surviving are her two children, Bob (Kristy) Richards of Braidwood, and Lori (Bill) Sears of Joliet; three grandchildren, Karl and Thomas Sears; and Jason Richards; dear aunt of two; numerous cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Richards; second husband, Dave Schmeisser; one brother, Carl Schulz; her dear aunt, Valarie Marshall. Elaine E. Schmeisser will lie in state on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, 353 N. Midland Avenue, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
