Obituary of Jeremy Scott

Jeremy D. Scott Age 33. Suddenly Friday, March 12, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center due to complications following a 13 year battle with quadriplegia. A Joliet resident for the past 16 years. Attended Plainfield High School. Prior to Jeremy's accident, he loved playing basketball and swimming, and was a avid sports fan. Jeremy's greatest loves in life were spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Jerry George; maternal grandparents, Charles and Minnie Owens. Survived by his beloved son, Dacoda Angelus of Shorewood; his loving mom, Patty Owens-Cahill and dad, Jeffrey Cahill of Joliet; one sister, Jillian (Aaron) Jaakkola of Joliet; two half-sisters, Victoria Duffy and Jessica George both of Alabama; four nephews, Jaaron, Jeffrey, Joseph and Jayden Jaakkola; one niece, Abigail Jaakkola; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Jeremy D. Scott will be Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor Bill Beagle officiating.
