William P. Binzen "Bill" Age 78. At rest Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Joliet, the son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Neiswender) Binzen, he was a lifelong resident. A U.S. Navy Veteran. Retired from Amoco Chemical Co. following 35 years of service. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Joliet, Holy Name Society and American Legion Post #1080. In his spare time Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis (Wruk) Binzen; beloved daughter, Pamela (Jim) Simpson; dearest grandchildren, Dominick (Ashley) Chellino III and Brieanna (Toby Oakes) Chellino; precious great-grandsons, Dominick IV and Luca Chellino; several nieces and nephews including, Patricia (Gerald) Walker. Preceded by his parents; grandson, Ryan Simpson; sisters, June (Joseph) Gladkowski and Dorothy Spencer; brothers, LaVerne and Harold (Marie) Brunner. Funeral Services for William P. Binzen will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Joseph Catholic Church would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 2-6 p.m. at: FRED C.
