Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Louise was born on March 9, 1925 in Monmouth, IL.
Survived by two daughters, Sharon (Ted) Fairbairn and Donna (Gerald) Boucher; one grandson, Matthew (Heather) Boucher and three great-grandchildren, Harlie Rose, Nicolas Henry and Delaney Cecelia Boucher, numerous nieces and nephews including Gary (Sharon) Damewood and Ron Damewood of Fl.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosa (Heaton) Taylor and numerous siblings including her loving sister, Ann (Ralph) Damewood who helped raise her. Also her loving husband, Henry "Hank" Shartzer who passed away on December 15, 1986.
Louise loved her family, her only grandson and her three great-grandchildren. Her family was her life. Special thanks to Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook and to the second floor ICU and comfort care unit of Edward Hospital for the excellent care afforded to our mother.
Prayer services will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at
