Obituary of Anna Shimshok

Anna L. Shimshok Age 76. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Provena McAuley Manor in Aurora. Born in Chester, IL, she was a long time Joliet area resident before retiring to Sycamore, IL 16 years ago. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree, Class of 1952; and a graduate of Chester High School and grade school. Retired Wayne Township Tax Assessor; a former realtor, broker and appraiser for Shimshok Enterprises. Anna was an animal lover, and an avid patron to animal charities. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Thelma Magers. Survived by her loving husband of 35 plus years, William Shimshok of Sycamore; two sons, Steve (Mary) of Arlington Heights and Tim of Elgin; one daughter, Lori of Elgin; two grandchildren, Aaron and Emily. Funeral Services for Anna L. Shimshok will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
