Obituary of Charles Sigwerth

Charles L. Sigwerth Age 77. Went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Born in Waltonville, IL to the late Clarence and Martha Sigwerth, residing in Joliet the past 55 years. Retired from Caterpillar Inc. following over 35 years of service. A U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Jean (nee Kelly) Sigwerth; four children, Charles, Gene and Michael Sigwerth, Mary (Terry) Wadell; three grandchildren, T.J., Gabby and Kelly Wadell; three brothers, Bob (Tommie), Hugh (Michelle) and Darrell (Joanne) Sigwerth; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded by his two infant sons, Truman and Wayne; his parents; three sisters, Myrtle and Vivian Sigwerth, Maeryta Rainey; one brother, Clarence "Dude" Sigwerth. Funeral services for Charles L. Sigwerth will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
