Obituary of Ronald Silverman

Ronald J. Silverman "Ron" Age 64, of Crest Hill, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born July 23, 1943 in Joliet to the late Frank and Cecelia (nee Schutten) Silverman, he had resided in the Joliet area all of his life. He was a member of Teamsters Local #179. Ron was a retired semi truck driver having worked for Silver Motor Express and C&C Trucking. He was a charter member of South Wilmington Sportsman Club. Beloved husband of 44 years to Paula R. (nee Wicburg); loving father of Linda (Tim) Brush, Patrick (LeighAnn) Silverman and Jill (Paul) Mihelich; proud and devoted grandpa of Tim, Ron, Samantha and Stephanie; Ronald, Nicholas, Ali and Mason; Paulina, Matthew and Zachary; he was also a beloved great-grandpa. Dear brother of Virginia (Charles) Henry; brother-in-law of Ruth and Sandra Silverman; Barbara (Matthew) Gregurich, Donald (Carol) Wicburg, and the late Jim (Toni) Wicburg; many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Frank, Jr., Richard, Bobby, and Doug Silverman; three sisters, Beverly Silverman and twins Connie and Bonnie in infancy. Funeral Services for Ronald J. Silverman will be Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
