Obituary of Megan Smithson

Smithson, Megan Raechelle Age 18. Tragically Sunday, December 26, 2010 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Joliet to Tamara K. (fiancé Jack Kushman) Smithson and Michael P. Smithson, living in Morris, IL the past 2 1/2 years. She was a senior at Morris Community High School and a member of HOSA. Surviving are her parents; sister, Mikayla Rose Smithson; maternal grandfather, Thomas Skoien of New Lenox; paternal grandparents, Richard Smithson of Kingman, AZ and Jeanne Sievert of Mokena, IL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends also survive. Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sharon K. Skoien. Funeral Services for Megan Raechelle Smithson will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
