Spreitzer, Linda L.
(nee Cooke)
Age 66. Suddenly Saturday November 17, 2012 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center following a courageous battle with Dementia, Alzheimers, and severe depression.
Born in Holliday, IL and a longtime Minooka, IL resident. Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company after many years of service. Her greatest love in life was spending time with family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Preceded by her mother, Vera Bootle; one sister, Kate Meyers; and one brother, Roger Gumm.
Survived by her loving husband of 44 years, John L. Spreitzer of Minooka; four sons, Joseph (Suzanne) of Seneca, John L. (Kathy) Jr. of Sheffield, IL, Richard of Lockport, and David (Sandy) Spreitzer of Minooka; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Donna (Randy) Smith and Dixie (Wes) Radcliff. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Linda L. Spreitzer will be Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, Rev. William Stinnett officiating. As it was Linda's request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following her funeral services with burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
