Obituary of Mary Stadler

Mary Frances Stadler (nee Flatt) "Nonnie" Age 69, passed away peacefully, November 7, 2007 at Loyola Medical Center, following a brief illness, with her family by her side. Born February 1, 1938 in Manhattan, IL., residing in Rockdale, IL. for the last 49 years. She married Donald L. Stadler November 8, 1958. They were to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary the day after her passing. Survived by her most loving husband Donald Stadler, Loving mother of son James (Lynn Grant), daughter and best friend Suzanne (Steve) Dieter, son Frederick (Angela Acosta). Grandmother of Taylor and Morgan Stadler, Zachary and Matthew Dieter, Nathan and Nicole Stadler. Dearest brother Dennis (Joan) Flatt. Special cousin/sister Kay (Leonard) Horkey. Many special nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary was the most loving, caring and compassionate Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She will be forever missed and cherished as she was the center of this family. Preceded in death by her Parents, Harvey and Kathryn Pulley, father and mother-in-law Harold and Mary Stadler. Her dearest aunt Mary Heiden, nephew Dennis Flatt and very special friend Rita Skiniotes. Mary retired in 1999 after 29 years of service with the office of John E. Duffy M.D. of Joliet. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale. She was a very loving and thoughtful person during her time with us. She was a caregiver, guardian angel, and friend for many over the years who will dearly miss her. Funeral services for Mary F. Stadler will be Saturday November 10, 2007, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
