Obituary of Richard Stapleton

Richard P. Stapleton "Rick" Age 59. Peacefully, Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his home with family by his side. Born in Joliet and a lifelong Joliet/Channahon resident. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carol (nee Petersen) Stapleton; two sons, Darin (Katherine) Atwood and Brian (Angela) Holman; three beautiful grandchildren, Davian and Alisson Atwood, and Luke Holman; his sister, Judith Popik; and two brothers, Thomas (Lora) Stapleton and Dr. William R. Stapleton. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by his parents, David and Gladys Stapleton, Jr., and one brother, Robert. Private funeral services were held.
