Obituary of Marilyn Stein

Stein, Marilyn J. (nee Hile) Age 87. Went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook. She was born on July 26, 1924, the daughter of Armstrong "Bud" and Hazel Hile. She shared 47 loving years of marriage together with the late Donald V. Stein. Her greatest love was her family. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards. Marilyn was a long time member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Cantigny Post #367 and the Joliet Rivals Club. Cherished mother of Don (Sandi) Stein of Ellsworth, MI, Mary Lynn (Gene) Mussetter of Pittsburgh, PA, Rick (Anne) Stein of Joliet, and Doug Stein of Minneapolis, MN; devoted grandmother of Tim (Joanne) Stein of Plainfield, IL, Amy Stein of Woodridge, IL, Christy (Scott) Byrd of Houston, PA, Aimee (Matt) Merino of Denver, CO, Heather (Kim) Milligan of Portland OR; adoring great-grandchildren, Scott and Hallie Byrd of Houston, PA, Joey and Mackenzie Stein of Plainfield, and Annaliese Merino of Denver, CO; loving sister of Larry (Evelyn) Hile of Tacoma, WA; devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law of Richard Baker. Funeral Services for Marilyn J. Stein will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. John Cemetery.
