Bryce A. G. Blazevic
Bryce Anton George Blazevic, age 28, of Shorewood, died suddenly, Tuesday, February 19, 2008. He was born June 5, 1979 in Joliet, IL. A generous and loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and godfather, nephew and friend, Bryce was a loyal and compassionate man.
Beloved son of Georgia (Girard) and Terrance Blazevic; Loving brother to April (Matthew) Woodside and Alisha (Nicki) Blazevic-Seibert; Proud uncle of Sam and Godfather to Ben Blazevic-Siebert and dearest Grandson to Vera "Nona" Blazevic. Also survived by Aunts and Uncles, Tana (Blazevic) and Mel Gray, Jim Girard and Connie Diamant; Nine first cousins, his loyal companion Shamus, and countless friends.
Preceded in death by his Grandmother Mary Catherine Girard and Grandfathers Anton Blazevic and George Girard.
Bryce will always be remembered for his love of waterskiing, kiteboarding, boating, and fun he had with friends and family on the Kankakee River. He worked for years in the family construction business at Modern Builders Industrial Concrete, Co. Bryce was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of Joliet West High School.
Funeral services for Bryce Blazevic will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a preferred form of memorial in Bryce's honor would be to offer a gesture of kindness to a friend, neighbor or perhaps a stranger in need.
