Obituary of Ruth Sterioti

Sterioti, Ruth Peggy (nee Hernandez) Age 83, of Joliet, went to heaven to be with her Lord on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born July 7, 1928 in Joliet, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Grace (nee Kunzmann) Hernandez. She worked for Sunny Hill Nursing Home as a clerk for over 35 years. Surviving are two daughters in Texas, Sarah and Kathy; her grandchildren; her devoted brother and sister-in-law, Royal and Marilyn Hernandez of Crest Hill; and many fond nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents and four brothers, Kenneth "Mike", James, Peter, and George, in infancy. Funeral services for Ruth Peggy Sterioti will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
