Obituary of Paula Stinebring

Stinebring, Paula J. (nee Johnson) Age 63, of Dwight and formerly Channahon, IL, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Sunday, July 22, 2012. Born June 2, 1949 to the late Reta (nee Scaman) and Richard Johnson in Joliet, IL where she was raised and educated, graduating with the Class of 1966 at Joliet Central High School. Beloved wife of 17 years to Jerry Stinebring; loving mother of Phil (Nancy) Bajt and Deidre (Greg) Carlson; dear stepmother of Susan (Fred) Jones and Scott (Ann) Stinebring. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her dear friends, Dee Dee Bajt and Susanne Long from the Dog and Suds days. Preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dave Johnson. Paula retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years of service as a security guard. A member of Will County Thresherman's Association, Central States Thresherman's Reunion and also head conductor of P & J S Railroad at the Dollinger Farm in Channahon. She had a love for music and was a talented pianist and harpist. As it was Paula's wish, cremation rites will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society or O.S.F. Hospice of Peoria, IL, would be appreciated.
