Obituary of Dorothy Taylor

Taylor, Dorothy C. (nee Hamlet) Age 98. At rest Thursday, January 26, 2012 at her late residence. Born in Onaga, KS, she was a Joliet area resident most of her life. Dorothy was a lifelong Methodist, and a seamstress. Survived by one son, Dennis (Kate) Taylor of Greeley, CO; three grandchildren, Terri (Craig Voigts) Taylor of Joliet, Tracy (Eugene) Lorenc of Rockdale, and Todd (Sophia) Taylor of Chicago; four great-grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Lorenc, Jack and Isabella Taylor; two nephews, Rick and John Hamlet. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth K. Taylor; one son, Robert Taylor; two brothers, Dale and Dean Hamlet. A Memorial Service for Dorothy C. Taylor will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
