Obituary of Leslie Thom

Thom, Leslie R. "Les" Age 80, a lifetime Joliet resident, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 7, 2011. He attended St. Raymond grade school and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mabel (nee Sullivan) Thom; one brother, Harold Thom, Jr. (WWII); two sisters, Collette Feeney, Patricia Thom and his uncle Lester Sullivan. Survived by his siblings, Daniel (Shirley) Thom, Gerald (Margaret) Thom and Jacqueline Stephen. Numerous nieces, nephews and several cousins also survive. Les retired from Keck Electric. After retirement, he held various part time jobs including Joliet Area Community Hospice. A member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Funeral Services for Leslie R. Thom will be held Friday, November 11, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Private interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice, Sunny Hill Nursing Home, or your favorite charity would be appreciated.
