Obituary of Catherine Tomczak

Catherine J. Tomczak (nee Gallagher) "Cathy with a "C" " Age 59. Suddenly Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at home. Born in Joliet to the late Patrick and Jean (nee Offerman) Gallagher, she was a lifelong area resident. Retired from the insurance business in 1999. Most recently employed part-time with the Joliet School District #86 at Dirksen Junior High. A happy camper of Lakepoint Campground. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; ever loving, ever guiding, ever faithful and ever true. Surviving are her loving husband of 38 years, Ronald A. Tomczak; her son, Robert (Desiree) Tomczak of Kankakee; her daughter, Karen (Jason) Craig of Joliet; five grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Taylor, Mason and Katie; three sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Minnick of Joliet, Colleen (James) Lawson of Elwood and Debra (Ken) Dassow of Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Catherine J. Tomczak will be Monday, November 5, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
