Obituary of Patricia Tomczak

Tomczak, Patricia G. "Pat" nee Pauly Age 69, of Joliet and formerly of Brighton Park, passed away suddenly, Saturday, August 27, 2011. Born in Chicago, June 6, 1942 to the late Henry and Mary E. Pauly. Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Peter H. (Michelle) Gountanis, Dante Deddo, Rickey (Karen) Deddo and Mickey Deddo. Devoted grandmother of Phillip and Jonathan Gountanis; Rocio Pina; Joscelyn, Lauren, Adalynn and Nolan Deddo. Dear sister of the late Henry F. (Anne) Pauly. Fond aunt of several and beloved cousin and friend to many. She will also be missed by Gizzie, her canine companion. Pat, a retired letter carrier of the USPS, served the Brighton Park community for over 25 years. She was a kind and loving woman who was a generous supporter of several charitable causes. Visitation Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet. Funeral Thursday, September 1, 2011, 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Naperville, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
