Obituary of Wenlan Tyda

Wenlan Tan Tyda Age 70, of Crest Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Wenlan was born February 18, 1941 in China, and completed her graduate education at Illinois State University. She worked as a legal interpreter for numerous legal firms, consulates and governmental agencies. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her strong spirit, upbeat personality and work ethic were an example to her family and friends. She felt fortunate to have found the love of her life, Larry. Survived by her beloved husband, Larry Tyda of Crest Hill; one son, Don Wang of Bloomington; one grandson, Donovan Wang; two step-children, Michelle (Michael) Ballard and Michael (Diana) Tyda; one step-granddaughter, Abigail Ballard; and one brother, Jacob (Daisy) Tan. She was preceded by her parents. Funeral services for Wenlan Tan Tyda will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
