Claire L. Urbanik
(nee Peterson)
Age 87. Passed away Friday, December 21, 2007 at her late residence at the Inn at Willow Falls. Born in Chicago, she was raised in Dwight and was a long time Joliet/Crest Hill area resident. A member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, the C.C.W., the Medical Mission, Senior Club and the Ladies Auxiliary Cantigny Post VFW #367.
Survived by two sons, James "Beilin Quinn" Urbanik of Joliet and Tim (Virginia) Urbanik of Morris; two daughters, Susan (Rupert) Rodriguez of Joliet and Jane (Jerry) Weber of Shorewood; seven grandchildren, Tammy (Al) Krzysciak, Brian Urbanik; Tony and Tara Rodriguez; Jacob, Samantha and Kenny Weber; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Urbanik; one brother, Jack Peterson and one sister Catherine Wright.
Claire's family would like to thank her caregivers at Willow Falls, as well as the Griswold caregivers and Vitas Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
Funeral Services for Claire L. Urbanik will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation Friday, 4-7 p.m. at:
