Obituary of Peter Varco

Varco, Peter John Peter John Varco, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all who knew him, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 23, 2009 at the age of 81. Son to the late Anthony and Sebastiana (Dolce) Varco, Peter served his country as a veteran of the Korean War and was preceded in death by his sister Mary and son Paul. Peter is survived by his cherished wife Joan, sister Sarah, brother Joseph (Karen), former wife Arlene (Fogarty), children Julie (Andy Murray), Anthony (Dawn), Peter (Barbara), Christopher, Tiana, Michael (Heather), stepchildren Jennifer Hearn (David) and Michele Jones and daughters-in-law Teresa and Sharon. Grandpa Pete leaves behind his adored grandchildren Lauren, Hailey, Connor, Taylor, AJ, Mackenzie, Christopher, Marisa, Anna, Zachary, Chantal, Ella as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on January 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60431.
