Obituary of Annette Ventsias

Annette Ventsias (nee Policandriotes) Age 79, late of Woodstock, and formerly of Yorkville and Joliet, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock, IL. Employed by F. W. Witt in Yorkville over 25 years. Member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and Yorkville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, traveling and feeding her birds. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Emanuel (2006); her parents, James C. and Jennie (nee Vrakas) Policandriotes; three sisters and one brother. Survived by one daughter, Jean (Edwin) Schuette of Woodstock; one son, James (Lori) Ventsias of Channahon; six grandchildren, Laura, Caryn, Annette, Aaron, Michael, and Sarah; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Buddy. Funeral Services for Annette Ventsias will be Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway, Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II.
