Obituary of Robert Vercellotti

Robert J. Vercellotti Age 80, of Shorewood, IL., and a former 30 year Quad Cities resident, passed away peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, September 22, 2011. Born in Rockdale, IL to James and Mary Vercellotti, he was a retired claims adjustor for Allstate Insurance Co.. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Beloved husband of 52 years to Mireille J. "Mimi" Vercellotti; loving father of Michele (Don) Wilson; grandpa to Brigitte (M.K.) Reddi and Eric Wilson; great-grandfather to Alessandra Reddi; brother of Lloyd (Mary Jane) Carlson; and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Several other relatives also survive. Preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Jennifer Allendorf. Private family services will be held with interment in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
