Edmund G. Vidmar
Age 82, of Joliet, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 with his children and grandchildren at his side.
Ed was born on November 13, 1927 in Joliet to the late Mary (nee Bajt) and George Vidmar. He was formerly employed as an electrician with the Material Service Corp. for 34 years.
Beloved and devoted husband to the late Cecelia (Kovalcik), nee Trizna; loving father of Richard (Janet) Trizna, Roger (Reenie) Trizna, and Robert (Sharon) Trizna; cherished grandfather of Tami (Rick) Klein, Michael (Melanie) Trizna, Susan (Andrew) King, Dan Trizna, Larry (Christine) Trizna, and Ashley Trizna; cherished great-grandfather Ricky, Cali, Jacob, Lauren, Kayla, Sam, Eli, Abby and Mitchell. Ed is also survived by a brother, Frank (Nancy) Vidmar; a sister, Marilyn (Tom) Carey; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by siblings, Carrie, John and William.
Edmund G. Vidmar will Lie in State on Friday, September 3, 2010 at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, 706 N. Broadway, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Private entombment for family members at Resurrection Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice. Arrangements by:
