Vilcek, Mary
Passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Norfolk, MA at the home of her daughter. Born in Poland on July 31, 1915 to the late Jan and Agnes Gutt, she emigrated to the United States in 1949 and spent most of her life living in the Chicagoland area, until moving to Massachusetts in 1996 after the death of her husband.
Mary is survived by her children, John (Carol) Vilcek, Otto (Mariann) Vilcek and Josephine (Arlie) Sterling; daughter-in-law Sandy Vilcek; grandchildren Cassandra Vilcek, John Albert Vilcek, Kerry Vilcek, Catherine (Scott) Gore, Jacqueline (James) Kinney, A. Graham (Brittany Erickson) Sterling IV and David Albert (Kara Walik) Sterling; and great-grandchildren Laney, Collin, John, Emily and Reagan.
Preceded by her husband Albert Vilcek; son Joseph Vilcek; daughter Helen Vilcek; grandson Randy Vilcek; her parents, one brother; and one sister.
Funeral Services for Mary Vilcek will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at:
