Obituary of Rose Villanueva

Rose Villanueva (Nee Padilla) Age 93. At rest Monday, May 30, 2011 at home with her family by her side. Born in Dallas, Tx. A lifelong resident of Chicago, coming to Joliet in 1995. Survived by two children, Tony (Nancy) Villanueva of LaGrange, IL and Maria Villanueva of Joliet; three sisters, Carmela (Tony) Delgado, Genevieve Padilla and Eloise (Peter) Santoyo; two brothers, Daniel (Carmen) and David (Sara) Padilla; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Villanueva (2001); parents, Thomas and Arnulfa (Palomaris) Padilla; two sisters, Eleanor Almanza and Tina Rodriguez; four brothers, Carmel, Paul, Frankie and Thomas Padilla. Funeral services for Rose Villanueva will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
