Obituary of Paul Volgar

Volgar, Paul Age 85, a lifetime Joliet resident, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 25, 2011. Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years, Toula Volgar and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Frances Volgar; siblings, Florence Griparis, George, Jimmy and Irene Volgar. Paul retired from Caterpillar Inc. after 35 years of service. He was a US Army veteran who served during WWII and was a lifelong member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church. All friends and relatives are invited to meet at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 102 N. Broadway St., Joliet on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Visitation Friday from 5-8 p.m. with Trisagion services at 6:00 p.m. at: FRED C.
