Obituary of Christine Voss

Christine A. Voss (nee Wondrasek) Age 77, passed away Friday, June 19, 2009 at Northwestern University Medical Center. A lifelong Will County resident, she retired from the E. J. & E. Railroad. She enjoyed sewing and cross stitch, and was an active quilter and baker with her friends at St. Ambrose parish. Survived by her children, Sonny (Denise) Voss of Yorkville, Stephen (Jolene) Voss of Magnolia, Sharon Hrvatin of Joliet, and Carol (Steve) Augle of Oak Lawn; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jonathan, Stephen, Nicholas, Derek, Gabrielle, DeAnna, Justine, Stephen, and Jade; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane (late Eugene) McGivern; one brother, Gerald (Mary) Wondrasek; and her beloved companion, "Chiefers". Preceded by her parents, Emanuel and Anna (Cichon) Wondrasek, and one brother, Edmond. Funeral services for Christine Voss will be Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Church of St. Jude for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
