Obituary of Joseph Voudrie

Joseph E. Voudrie Age 60, of Joliet, died suddenly Thursday, September 3, 2009 at his home. Born in Joliet to the late Alvin and Jessie (nee Perella); he was a lifetime resident. Graduate of Joliet Township East High School Class of 1967. In his younger years, he was a meat cutter; and then was an operator for Lyondell Chemical, formerly Equistar and Northstar, for 25 years. Member of the Moran A.C. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, cooking and grilling out. Beloved husband of 39 years to Karen L. (nee Cronholm); loving father of Ann (Mitch) Foultz, Scott and Steve (Heather) Voudrie; proud grandpa of Jessica, Matthew and Timothy Foultz; Zachary, Zoe and Zane Voudrie; dear brother of James P. Voudrie and Susan (James) McLean; nephew of Mary Lou Knearem; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Joseph E. Voudrie will be Monday, September 7, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
