Obituary of Dennis Ward

Dennis R. Ward Age 60. Friday, August 24, 2007 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, following a courageous battle with Diabetes. Born in Indianapolis, IN and a long time Joliet/Mokena area resident. Dennis was a devoted leader in his church, and was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Preceded by his father, Rev. M. O. Ward. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra (nee Simmons) Ward of Aurora; one son, Leslie O. (Angela) Ward of Shorewood; one daughter, Kelly (nee Ward) Guinan; his mother, Leora Ward both of Bolingbrook; three grandchildren, Kara, Eric and Shawn; and two brothers, Harold and Bob Ward. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive. Funeral services for Dennis R. Ward will be Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Crystal Lawn Church of the Nazarene, 2424 Caton Farm Rd., Crest Hill, IL. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II.
