Obituary of Patricia Bonsignore

Patricia Ellen Bonsignore "Tricia" Age 49. At rest Friday, July 9, 2010 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family at her side. Born in Meadowbrook, PA and a resident of Channahon since 1990. Graduated with honors from Franklin Regional High School, Murrysville, PA, and received her BS in Psychology with a minor in Theology from Seton Hill College, Greensburg, PA. She furthered her education in Special Education at Illinois Benedictine College and Joliet Junior College. Formerly employed by the Center for Independent Living as a Youth Advocate, most recently as a substitute teacher for area schools. Past President of the CCW of St. Ann Catholic Church in Channahon. Member of the International Graphoanalysis Society where she studied hand writing. Despite being born with Spina Bifida, Tricia led a full and productive life. People have been inspired by her determination and upbeat attitude in everything she did. As a Brownie, Girl Scout and Senior Scout, she earned merit badges including a camping badge for her experiences in the redwood forests in Northern California. Survived by her parents, Patrick and Mary Ellen Bonsignore; brother, James J. (Amy) Bonsignore; and two nephews, Ara and David Bonsignore. A Memorial Mass for Patricia will be celebrated Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Channahon, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C.
