Obituary of Adele Watland

Adele Y. Watland Mrs. Adele Yvonne Watland, 87, went home with the Lord Saturday, September 4, 2010. Born on June 3, 1923 in Pontiac, Illinois, she was the daughter of George and Daisy (Davenport) Page. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, playing cards and bingo, music, playing the organ, bowling and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morris, and the Moose Lodge. She enjoeyd being a housewife and selling avon. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Bernard, and her husband of 69 years, Aldon B. Watland. Survivors include one son Gary (Kathy) Watland, one daughter Arlene (Ward) Carroll, one sister Betty Jean Williams, five grandchildren, Brett and Mark Watland, Kim Vacca, Brooke and Tori Watland, and two great grandchildren Eric Vacca and Jacob Watland.
