Obituary of Lorraine Welch

Lorraine R. Welch Age 91. Peacefully passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Morris Hospital. Born in Chicago. A resident of Downers Grove for 45 years and a member of the Morris community for the past 16 years. Retired after 31 years from Electro Motive General Motors as a secretary. A member of the Art Leagues in LaGrange, Downers Grove, Hinsdale and Naperville for many years. Precede by her parents, one sister and one brother. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Herman F. Welch of Morris; one brother, Richard (Lee) Svoboda of Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Lorraine R. Welch will be Friday, February 24, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Fr. Edward Howe officiating. As it was Lorraine's request cremation rites have been accorded.
