Obituary of Robert Werner

Robert J. Werner Age 92, of Joliet, at peace Thursday, July 1, 2010. Born July 16, 1917 in New Lenox, he was a 1936 graduate of Joliet Central and served with the United States Army in World War II. He retired from Caterpillar in 1977 after 26 years of service. Survived by his daughter, Sue Ann; a sister, Hazel McCarney; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his wife, Eileen; his parents, Jacob and Mary (Weitendorf) Werner; and seven brothers and sisters. Special thanks to Joliet Area Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
