Whittington, Scott A.
Age 51. Suddenly, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at his late residence, due to a diagnosed heart condition. Born in Joliet, he was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Owner and operator of S&A Liquor Store in Crest Hill. Scott was a "Chicago Sports Fanatic" whose greatest gift was enjoying time with his family and friends, always entertaining them with his great sense of humor. Scott was a self proclaimed "Fantasy Football and Poker God". His friends can attest to his skill level as they mostly left with less in their pocket than when they arrived.
Preceded in death by his father, John Whittington; his mother, Patricia (Angelo) Nazos; and one brother, Angelo "Beau" Nazos.
Survived by four brothers, Michael (fiancee Cynthia Vargas) Whittington, Darin (Gina) Whittington, Peter Nazos and Jason (Dawn) Nazos; his stepdaughter, Christi Cardwell; his stepmother, Susan Whittington; his sister-in-law, Jamie Aichele; numerous nieces, nephews, and his faithful canine companion, Keeda who was the true love of his life.
Memorials Services for Scott A. Whittington were held at Cantigny Post VFW on November 11, 2011. As it was Scott's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his nieces and nephews education fund c/o the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, in his name would be what he would have wanted. No visitation. Arrangements by:
