Obituary of Helen Wilhelmi

Helen A. Wilhelmi (nee Videtich) Age 89. Passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 in Chillicothe, IL at the home of her daughter. Born in Joliet on March 31, 1922 and a lifelong resident, living in Elwood since 1948. Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Society #2, K.S.K.J. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Wilhelmi (Feb. 21, 1964); parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Libersher) Videtich; four brothers, Martin, Emil, Joseph and Anthony "Tony" Videtich; two brothers, Edward and William in infancy; four sisters, Ann Videtich, Cecelia Batusich, Mary Ann Churnovic, Dorothy J. Lilek; one grandson, Eric Shutack; and her lifelong friend, Earl A. Lauffer. Surviving are her children, Sherry (Larry) Shutack of Juneau, Alaska, Marlene (John) Zigrossi of Chillicothe, IL, Eugene "Terry" (Jackie) Wilhelmi of Elwood, IL; one sister, Veronica "Vera" (late Stanley) Demsky, and sister-in-law, Margaret (late Anthony) Videtich of Joliet; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation for Helen A. Wilhelmi will be Friday, April 8th from 9:00a.m. to 10:30a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private.
