Joann M. Williams
(nee Vogrin)
Age 74, of Kankakee and a former long time Joliet resident, passed away peacefully at Riverside Medical Center. Born in Joliet to the late John and Ellen (nee Rogers) Vogrin, she was raised in Joliet and attended St. Raymond Grade School and St. Francis Academy.
Preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Donald R. Williams (1989); parents; two sisters, Barbara Jean Vogrin and Edna Mae Knott.
Beloved mother of Debbie (Daniel) Rozak of Custer Park; devoted grandmother of Heather Rozak-Kuban, Kimberly Perry, Heidi Rozak, and Daniel (Jessica) Rozak, Jr.; proud great-grandmother of Seth, Erica, Danny, Lorelei and Matthew; dear sister of John Leo (Mary) Vogrin; sister-in-law of Emil Knott; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was a home operator for the past 15 years for J.U.L.I.E. Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Harwood Post #5. She enjoyed crocheting, and loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Funeral Services for Joann M. Williams will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3-8 p.m. at:
