Williams, William O.
Died peacefully at age 92 on March 19, 2011 with his family at his side at the Joliet Area Community Hospice.
Born in Beech Grove, Indiana he spent most of his life in the Plainfield-Joliet area.

He was a member of Cantigny Post 367, Knights of Columbus in Plainfield and Tiger Club in Aurora. Bill worked at Commonwealth Edison for 39 years, retiring July 4, 1981. Bill enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and loved teasing his kids and anyone else that would let him. He was a head usher at St. Mary Immaculate Church in Plainfield and enjoyed interacting with the parishioners; always taking special care to greet the children. His favorite saying for many years, when asked how he felt, was "ornery as ever" always with a big smile. He will truly be missed.
The family would like to give special thanks to their neighbors Mike, Cathy and Sean Buchanan for always being so helpful when it was needed.
