Obituary of LuAnn Winkels

LuAnn M. Winkels Age 54, of Ottawa, and formerly of Plainfield and Crest Hill, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her late residence. Born March 11, 1957 in Marshfield, WI, she was a graduate of Plainfield High School. LuAnn will be remembered for how much she loved her family and pets, and for her gardening and sewing skills. Surviving are her mother, Lois A. Winkels of Plainfield; three brothers, Leo (Sandra) Winkels of Sugar Grove, Larry Winkels of Plainfield, and Randy (Torey) Winkels of Kangley; one sister, Bonnie Bernhard of Minooka; her nieces and nephews, Heather, Bryant, Stefanie, Stacie, Lisa, Scott, Randa, Tyler and Lindzie; eight great nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Christine Legler of Plainfield. Preceded by her father, Roman R. Winkels (1999). A Memorial Services for LuAnn Winkels will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
