Obituary of Norman Bormet

Norman E. Bormet Age 83. Peacefully Wednesday February 18, 2009 at Morris Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Chicago Heights, a 40 year Joliet area resident before retiring to Morris 15 years ago. Former co-owner of United Electric Supply, INC. in Joliet. A lifelong member of Joliet and Morris Moose Lodges. He was a super volunteer for the Morris Hospital Transportation Department. An active member of the Friends in Christ Church. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a devoted family man. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hildegarde Bormet; one brother Alvin Bormet; one nephew Glenn Bormet. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Phyllis (nee Fiore) Bormet of Morris. Loving father of four children Rev. Phyllis Mueller of McHenry, IL, Howard S. Parks of Joliet, Marilyn (Rick) Book of Fairfield, IL and William (Lorraine) Parks of Joliet. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One brother Donald Bormet of Springfield also survives. Funeral services for Norman E. Bormet will be Monday February 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Randall Donahue officiating. Memorials to the charity of your choice in his name would be appreciated. Interment Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Tinley Park. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at: Fred C.
