Obituary of Sister OSF

Sister Mary Gen Wolffram, OSF Sister Mary Gen (formerly, Sr. M. Cortona) Wolffram, OSF (1933-2009) died peacefully at her home in Our Lady of Angels Village on February 18, 2009. She was the beloved daughter of the deceased Charles and Mary Genevieve (Kelly) Wolffram, loving sister of Harry (Mary Alice), John (Paula), Joseph (Dolores), Robert and Samuel, and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was a treasured member of the Joliet Franciscans for over 45 years. Born in Fayetteville, Ohio, she ministered as a grade school teacher and as Director of Activities at Our Lady of Angels. The wake will be held at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, IL (Wyoming and Rt. 30) on Friday, February 20, 2009, from 2:00-6:45 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 4:45 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 p.m. The burial will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Angels to Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, Illinois.
